Def Leppard performing "Wasted" Live in 1983 at the Dortmund Rock Pop Fest. Sorry, I really don't know why YouTube is making my videos darker than they show up in every single one of my media players. =\

Good Lord! Steven F-N Clark!!!!!!!!!! Check it at 2:12 to 2:59 - the man is THE most charismatic guitar player ever in terms of presence and solo guitar phrasing.

On Through the Night, an NWOBHM classic album. With touches of Zep, Rush, and especially UFO it was their most brutal effort. My favorite Def Leppard album bar none.

Killer song!!! I still remember a band covering this at the Briarwood Bash in State College Pa., eons ago. The microphone didn't work and the guitar intro went on forever, while they tried to fix it. He ended up screaming the song at the top of his lungs. Ah, the good ole days... \m/

From their very best album, On Thru The Night. Hands down the best rock album that they ever produced. And Steve Clark was simply just not replaceable.

They may still be good live. I wouldn't dispute that . . . Adrenalize was delayed. Should have been released in '89, then it would have worked better, but in 92, it didn't fit right with the new guitar bands on the circuit. Got a few Yorkshire mates, who knew Eliot [like you know someone in a pub to say 'alright' to] Not exactly a diamond geezer . . . although my father is a black cab driver in London and picked both Eliot and Colin up years ago. He didn't say a bad word about Eliot
