Honestly, they took an amazing, beautiful song and completely trashed it. For one thing, The Gay Divorce (the stage show this originated in) starred Fred Astaire and i believe Claire Luce. Not this "Jack" person. For another thing, he has a nice voice but kills the song by overdoing it. Crap. Complete crap.

I have loved this movie for years. It was just now checking John Barrowman's IMDB page that I realized he played Jack. For those who haven't seen the movie John has one more scene...he is also a one night stand for Kevin Kline (Cole Porter.) All seems most appropriate.
