I don't like a lot of David Gilmour's solo work, but the song "Out of the Blue" on his album About Face is one of the songs I relate to more than most I've ever heard, or likely ever will in this life, and in my opinion is a better song than any he wrote for Pink Floyd.

This album doesn't have one bad song on it. It's miraculous. In all the years I have purchased music I always had favorites and those that I seldom played. This entire album just doesn't get old for me. Every track....excellent. Up there with any Pink Floyd album.
