Taken from a five song promotional film that was made to promote Gilmour's first album. The band comprised Gilmour himself on guitars and vocals plus the two musicians on the album (bass player Rick Wills and drummer Willie Wilson) plus David Gilmour's brother Mark on rhythm guitar and Ian McLagen on keyboards and performed "Mihalis", "There's No Way Out of Here", "So Far Away", "No Way" and "I Can't Breathe Anymore". There were additional female backing singers on "There's No Way Out of Here" and "So Far Away". The performances of the tracks in the promotional film differed to the album versions.

I have been listening to this album since buying it in a small town in Germany in 1978. Tonight is the very first time that I have the good fortune to see any of this promotional footage nearly 37 years later! The world view, emotional state expressed in the lyrics mirrors my current somewhat depressed state of mind. Chicken or egg?

I agree with Angel, his voice is unique. Weather with Pink Floyd or solo he just sounds ...well, like David Gilmour. That's just one half of the man's talents as he is also one of the greatest rock guitarists of our time. Again, as Angel says, it's not how fast or how slick he plays, it's his touch, his tone and his feel that give you goose bumps. What this guy does with six strings is , again, pure David Gilmour magic.
