Has anyone noticed a common them in several of his videos? His hand moves to the earth from above. You can find it (immensely) in ashes to ashes, and other videos. It symbolizes the Kaballah in its circles. The crowning circle is known as Kether, the Kingdom circle is known as Malkuth. The hand to ground movement is a symbol of moving directly from Kether to Malkuth passing by the other circles which one normally has to pass. Station to Station's lyrics explain a lot: "dredging the ocean, lost in my circle.""Here are we one magical movement from Kether to Malkuth""There are you. You drive like a demon from station to station." The song is not about trains. It's about passing from each station (circle) to the next.I just wanted to put in my knowledge about Bowie and his interest in the Kaballah.
