From DirecTV's broadcast of Farm Aid 25: Growing Hope for America, Dave Matthews, Willie Nelson and Tim Reynolds perform "Gravedigger" at Miller Park in Milwaukee on October 2, 2010. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers.

Farm Aid's performances are donated by the artists in order to raise funds and raise awareness for family farmers. They've raised their voices to help — what can you do?

Such a moving performance, Dave emanating respect and love for that old 'troubadour' Willie brings his soul to this performance. I would love to have been able to hear them play together when Willie was a 20 years younger....imagining it now ...awesome!!

For some reason I thought Willie Nelson was dead... This confirms it. He can still play a guitar at least...

No offense, but Matthews not a moving singer. Either leave Willie alone or get someone who can sing. Mark Knopfler? Neil Young? Springsteen?

Jpstirling you are a fucking joke dude. Seriously you don't think tjay was exactky what willie does and does better than anyone well than you are deaf to beauty no one can sit back on the melody and stretch the harmony like that if you dont get it that's just sad for you. To those who heard what I did ;-) awesome and as eerily magical as always. Willie.... yes he will.

I think Willie was a bit emotional during this one. I also think that while he was singing this song he was reliving the fact that he had to bury his own son - the worst thing one might ever have to do...
