Thank You Missy Ondine for these great Danny Kirwan posts. Danny had more talent than all the combined members put together. Peter Green burned brightly, but flamed out early, as he was too thin-skinned. It is very obvious that Peter was a wee bit jealous of Danny' innate abilities. It grieves me no end that no one knows where Danny is at present, and that these other Mac members are living lives of luxury in the California hills and Danny wanders around London or some other place, rootless, homeless and friendless. Shame on them.

The reason Kirwan was asked to join was precisely that Jeremy didn't fit in. Green needed a guitarist to back him up, and Jeremy just wasn't going to do it.

Gran guitarrista! de una dulzura incomparable, lo mismo en sus composiciones y en su voz. Podría haber tenido una gran carrera artística. Esperemos que algún día regrese. ¿Alguien sabe donde esta? Saludos desde Argentina.

@MsOndine Yes I agree with your perception of Jeremy. No doubt a fine guitarist and performer, but lacking in original material. Not to say that he couldn't if he tried. He just chose not to. He was also going in a different direction to Peter and Danny

achingly beautiful, it seems that everyone who knows of danny, wishes for him to be happy, and to know the depth of the love we have for him. i read that peter said danny was so into music he would cry . well, there are tons of tears from this fan for him

@clikityclak, I think the biggest problem with Jeremy Spencer was that he couldn't come up with something new. It was always Elmore James and later Buddy Holly stuff that he felt the need to clone. Especially Danny Kirwan would have had more space on stage when Peter Green would have decided to let Jeremy go - Spencer was hogging the spotlights too much. Maybe Green's Fleetwood Mac would have survived in this way. Still Jeremy played some nice slide on some songs, especially The Purple Dancer.

Every group picture i see of the original Fleetwood line up... Jeremy Spencer always seems to stick out and not fit in

@MusicalTree3, Thanks for your insightful reaction. Danny really knew to touch a string (not only a guitar string):) Thanks also for your compliment on the pictures. I am rather new to this video clip making and I am dabbling a bit with Wndows Movie Maker.
