Nice work.  But how about a real challenge: rather than using a keyboard or rhythm guitar chord pad backing, let's try a piece of really polyphonic music where each contrapuntal line is played by a separate lead guitar (or bass)?  Either multitracked or separate players?  With good drums too, of course.  I think you could probably do it.... perhaps a Bach piece as a starter...?

I kind of agree. I do think harmonic minor sounds good in metal however, but I think it sounds best as a surprise to the listener rather than using it to build an entire song.

Well, you do have the "technical" skill. That alone serves the purpose of this video. But if it was intended to showcase a "song", there's musicality and composition elements to take consideration. You can show a ton-load worth of speedster skills, but running it through a chord pattern doesn't make it song-worthy.

No amount of harmonic minor scale shredding will make metal hold a candle to classical music. The variety of dynamics and gradual changes in tempo are just too much for instruments like drums and distorted guitar to pull off. Why won't the Yngwie Malmsteens of this world understand that? Sue me for being a snob.

Awesome! Just a little constructive criticism: you've got a bit of what I call "nervous" vibrato going on. It's probably due to your perfect left hand posture not allow you to dig in and get more expression. If it were me I would revert to the classic rock type left hand posture to get more when the note calls for it or maybe just use a tremolo arm so you don't risk making a bad habit on the left hand. Just my suggestion, I certainly don't play sweep or speed picking as well as you. Nice playing
