I agree, I was just joking around I mainly wanted to leave a comment because, well, one of my friends who is an art student (and kind of pretentious, but I can be pretty pretentious as well so whatever) spoke enthusiastically of iwrestledabearonce so I (suffered through) listened to a couple of their songs and immediately wanted to tear out my auditory nerves for there corny songs/lyrics/videos and terrible compositions and craftsmanship and just overall mediocrity.

I think you missed the underlying message in his comment, it's not the music that caused his decision of never having children but the people who would listen to such music and everything attributed to there mindset and what they might/will create/do in return, and the bleak future that will most likely occur because of those perspectives... or maybe I'm over analyzing a snide comment about some shitty metalcore band that pretentious art students listen to.

So some noob told me I should check out Iwrestledabearonce, so I did. It sucked. Then some weird masochistic desire took over me and I checked out about 10 other recommended videos, they all sucked. They all sounded the same, each song gayer and lamer than the one before. It's a sad time we're living in. Thank god for Cynic and all the real metal out there. Fuck me I'm not bringing a kid into this world.
