That's exactly what I said in 1993 when I first heard Focus. And in 16 years... that statement is truer than ever. Paul is the most humble and underrated musician I can think of. This guy came up with and through Monstrosity, Obituary, Pestilence, Morbid Angel, Death, Malevolent Creation, Eternal Torment, Cannibal Corpse, Carcass, Entombed, Suffocation, Immolation, fucking you name it, he's played in some of these bands and been on stage with all of them. But Cynic remains the shining jewel.

обалдеть, Cynic в крыму был. эти ребята (т.е. пол с шоном конечно) такое сделали в начале 90-х, что люди начинают понимать только сейчас.. но то, что они стали сочинять после 93-го - настолько "не то".. никакой джазовости, нечетных ритмов, индуистских интонаций.. жалко.
