Some great stuff, shows the band in a rough period in terms of its internal functionality (Ginger and Jack were always at each others throats at this point and Eric was always playing peace keeper) but still managing to come together and deliver in front of the New York audience...

Wow thanks for posting I have been searching for anything from this concert....it was the first one I ever attended it started on my Clapton guitar style career How can I get a copy of this boot?

Clapton may have said he was playing on the wrong beat but all those moments managed to right themselves. I myself never perceived it that way and I've been playing that very solo as a tribute for decades. EC may not like the WOF version but the thing really works and extraordinarily well IMO.

Isn't it strange that the definitive version of Crossroads happened because Clapton was accidently playing on Baker's backbeat? That's the only version that happens on and Clapton always said he hated the WOF version because he was playing on the wrong beat, but that's what made it what it was. This version, played on the "correct" beat, shows the difference.
