This was a small gig in Sydney (Australia) which I was lucky enough to attend. There was only about 200 people there so I was able to go right up front. On the night it was probably on of his best vocal performances.

This is a pretty faithful cover of Cream's 1968 version. Many prefer Ry Cooder's version, because it's so much closer to the original.Buddy Guy's cover of Sweet Home Chicago, the Stone's cover of Stop Breakin' Down-- good players will be covering Robert Johnson forever.

Guys, stop arguing about the guitar being out of tune. There is fuzz caused by the pedal, yes, but there is a distinct dissonance in the guitar's d and g strings. He's playing a perfect fourth between those. If it was in tune, there should be virtually no dissonance, especially in that interval of notes. What's great: It still sounds amazing. This rendition of the song is practically made for dissonance.

He uses a NG2 pete cornish fuzz pedal for those wondering.

It is not a side effect of delay. I love john and his music. It's just an unfortunate tuning error, and if he is playing out of tune on purpose which I highly doubt then in my OPINION I don't like it. I still enjoy watching the video. Everyone is entitled to what they think.

His guitar is out of tune, not so noticeable in the solo but for the main riff its very noticeable.

He does those modern feels just to satisfy the ignorant fucks. But I still feel the blues anyway. -_-

Btw, it's a Robert Johnson's song. Not of Eric C. at all. Well, creamy...& he gives much more feelings than poor EC ( Keith Richards likes to say " poor Eric", not me, Ma'am, not me!)

Not to be a dick but: Is it just me, or is his guitar tuned slightly too high? :/ Great song nonetheless
