This pedal steel work is just to die for. I never tire of hearing it. Jerry also plays banjo on "Old and in the Way" which was his first recording I am told. It's a live recording in a bar in The City with David Grisman, Peter Rowan and the incomparable Vassar Clemens on fiddle.

In the past we taught our children morals because it felt like the right thing to do. Now there is cold hard reason why we need to live moral lives. Learn the code that you must live by, by reading "The Present" at truthcontest, com.

I remember listening to this on the radio headphones as I ran down the road into the sunset back when I could still run.

Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. This song "Teach Your Children" was on their last album; "Four Way Street". Afterwards they all went solo and did great.

Such a peaceful and poetic mood...this song takes me back to a gentler kinder time...at least it seemed so....maybe less media...more youth....more hope
