Thank You for sharing, when the music still made sense, had a meaning, and was so much better than that stuff they consider top 40 pop today.I'm only 39, but once was a small FM radio DJ and really learned to appreciate the music of the 50's, 60's, and 70's.

Saw Crispian St. Peter at a little rustic R&R club on Route 17 S in Mahwah, NJ( next to Robbie's Music ) called THE LOFT one night back in 1967... great song. Not too months after that... my man, Jumpin' Joe Major & me caught the talented Spyder Turner doing his soulful hit "Stand By Me"... there sure was a lot o' good music back in them days. Vanilla Fudge played this club too -- You Keep Me Hangin' On - ooo-ooo-ooo-oooo!

I guess there has been too many tenors in rock and roll. I love how he begins this with such a rich, deep voice.

I first heard The Pied Piper when we were sitting on my front porch listening to the radio.in 1966. Even my 13 year old mind knew this was going to be a big hit, and it was. It reached #1 where I lived in Michigan.

"You with your meditatin' & you always contemplatin' what to do in case blacklisting has found you can't you see it's all around you done by Artie" . 4 days ago I checked-in @ me MySpace page ONLY to post @ Kornfeld's MySpace. I wrote how I had purchased his "A Time To Remember" solely upon the strength of the jacket's artwork BUT truly dug the songs. Anywho, I checked back and my post is deleted & NOW ye must be one of Artie's MySpace Friends to post . Peace & Love & blacklisting .
