@Proof2393 Incredible guitarist, but maybe not Canada's best. Check out Rik Emmett, Alex Lifeson, Paul Dunn, Robbie Robertson, or JP Cormier... I'm sure Colin would agree. However, Colin James is probably Canada's best guitarist / singer, because he is unreal at making his inspired playing and wicked voice complement eachother.

Good guess but wrong. The song was derived from "Match Box Blues" written by Blind Lemon Jefferson in 1927. The Shelton Brothers recorded it a few times in the 1930's and 40's. Carl Perkins improvised the lyrics on his 1956 recording but, this would be the most remembered recording of this classic.
