man Vancouvers gotta bring back the smiling buddha ahaha I've since realized the Biltmore doesn't really do justice they don't get the same kinda bands like the buddha used to but and of course at the moment its a burnt out porno shop with a liberal sprinkling of drug addicts dealers and homeless folks all around so things wouldn't seem to be looking so good but yeah i guess times have changed like i know "the cave" is definitely not coming back that used to be the place to go, seemed like all the greats went through Vancouver and played the cave Johnny Cash Ray Charles James Brown Tina Turner etc etc but hey at least we still have the commodore ballroom ahaha

I wish I was a possessed, white dress acolyte in that video. Colin James can show me his Voodoo Thing as soon as Mama La Reaux says so.

for those of you who remember the Smiling Bhudda, pretty cool, was probably there that night, however don't remember the dancing girls being that well dressed. Saw Colin several times while living in Vancouver, I think he might been overshadowed bt Bryan Adams, because of the big sound he was making here, but, could be me, but I think this guy is a genius, music wise anyhow

Personally, Not a big Sam Roberts fan, never heard of the next two, and yep I forgot BTO and the Guess Who. On that note, the Lenny Kravitz version of American Woman is WAY better

you forgot Sam Roberts Band, Great Big Sea, Metric, Bachman-Turner Overdrive and the Guess Who (not to be confused with the British band the Who)
