Blood and treasure in Iraq? With an Areocracy comes great responsibility. The use of the word political is deceptive in terms of intelligence gathering to justify military actions. In these places (places where they will kill their own children to draw us in and suck up our funds) the real terms are about religious superstitions and the immoral rights of the few to use ignorance to control the majority. WE fought a war with Britain in 1776 so we could be free of the religious influences of the "state". Now here we are expending more blood and more treasure to bolster what will surely end up being another religious government. Colonial Williamsburg or Disney Land are two good examples of what will come of these places. Fenced in fantasy lands where people pretend to know the truth and live by old world rules. No, a Sunni will never be allowed to vote with a Shia This is because they are exclusive religions. An Islamic Framework governing document is not a true and free constitution. People of different religious views VOTE peacefully together every election day in New York City. Labeling the plight of people in these Islamic nations as political in nature is a lie. For politics has nothing to do with the power struggles in nations who rule their people with religious persecution. The use of ignorance and superstition as a tool to keep people following the rules is brutal and wrong. To send our troops there to allow others to practice such things is selfish, heinous, and cowardly! (kingofallclergy)
