Never heard this before - it's fantastic. There is a radio DJ in Liverpool, extremely famous locally, called Billy Butler who rated Ward above everyone and I think I can see why.

Love this one. It resonates to events in my own life. Beautifully sung. Simple backing track that enhances rather detracts from Clifford's delicate voice.

What makes humans special. People like Mr Ward being able to produce such beautiful human creations as this.Lyrics for you ladies and gentlemen:I want you to knowThat it's workin' out alrightI found a job and things are lookin' upAn' if you join me soon we can celebrate andPut it all back as it used to beBut I take it that you're still not free.I'm sure you can tellThat it's still the same old meJust a dreamer in a low profileWith promises and half attempts to learnAnd bring about what was meant to beBut I take it that you're still not free. And still you hesitateDon't leave it later than you have toDon't make it complicatedLeave tonight an' I'll be waitin'.I think I can seeThat you've found a new life nowAn' it's not includin' meBut if things go wrong an' you change your mind, wellYou know I'm here where I'll always beBut I understand you're still not free.INSTRUMENTALAnd still you hesitateDon't leave it later than you have toDon't make it complicatedLeave tonight an' I'll be waitin' .I think I can seeThat you've found a new life nowAnd it's not includin' meBut if things go wrong an' you change your mind, wellYou know I'm here where I'll always beBut I understand you're still not free.

Thank you for the reply homethoughts1. Agreed, we have to move on, because the other person gives us no alternative, but in truth, Myung and I parted last December, and last spoke in February, and I have thought of her each and every day, and miss her more and more the longer the absence becomes. How true, this song, ~of my own life. So true, this life, this wellbeing, this person. We strive, only merely exist to associate with the love we know, that lost experience... & Y not? Adjusting to past echoes builds hope, not false worship... if based upon lost love... a love once found, discovered, and that trully developed, mutually. I know this exists, it is here, like me... but what is to be done with it? The truth is... move on, for life coexists with change. And... always love. Regs. Mark

Ref, Recordbhoys remarks beginning 'I really hope things...' ~ 4 posts below ; I replied to this, but the post wasnt tagged at the end of this discussion, but ended up in the main comments column (further down). Tried to repost, with an explanation, and it ended up there as well. Seems this happened as R'hoy has closed his account here, so all replies are being directed away from the active narrative here. Sorry this sounds complex, but then, life is all-too-often that way! Regs. M

Rhoy, ty for your kind comments. Myung and I met early Apr.2011. We stayed together from day1, until her visa ended, Dec15. Painful Heathrow parting. Then on Skype daily,6-14 hours, even watching each other sleep sometimes! The mid Feb event. Not a single word since. Now reread your last sentence, and see how apt that is, in that all reasons and motives, for the loss of such a loving bond, is a confusing mystery. Friend now in Korea trying to find her, but I dont hold out any hope. Thanks again.

6am UK (3pm Korea) 11 Feb. V tired, stayed up all night waiting for Myungs call. 15min chat. She looked drawn, ill; was at work in Seoul office. Chat about issues became heated, frustrated by trivial differences of opinion. She quickly became stressed, then angry; a qik downward escalation. Never seen that facial expression before. Odd. Call ended, both upset, saying "Talk later". My every effort to talk, and all family/friends efforts ignored to time of writing. A terribly sad mystery. Painful.

Thank you, I am familiar with that beautiful recommendation, and it was nice to hear it again. This song by CTW actually reflects my own ongoing agony concerning my Korean fiancee, who, following an online tiff on Skype in mid Feb, has broken off all contact ever since. She has ostracised all contacts here. Everyone is baffled... and I have never been so depressed and unhappy. I take solace from such songs, and so appreciate those people that make suggestions of the type you have. Thank you.Mark

A fan of this man for nigh on 40 years, this artists music once formed part of my 30k track music library (c2002). Pop music was once my true forte, ~before the arrival of digital formats, and the death of harmonious, melodious songs, and lyrics that kissed the heart. My point? In my opinion, there has never been anyone who even came close to this genius who penned, and yet moreover, sang, with so much feeling, such a beautiful repertoire. "Mine in a gift that can be yours even when I am gone".
