Discovered Clifford T Ward tonight after listening to Rod Stewart (reason to believe) can't believe I haven't heard this stuff before, beautiful, every track.

I'm involved ina centre that helps Carers and Young Carers. This song should be an anthem for Young Carers.

@jacko1972 I think that's the thing with CTW - the music and lyric seep into you more and more over time.

Every time I listen to it, it gets more beautiful, more profound.

I was first introduced to Clifford T Ward by a friend in Dublin and I must confess, I hated the songs. A few boozy nights later, a few big rows between us and even after just a few weeks, I got it. It didn't take me long to realize what a genius Clifford T ward is. My musical background is Kate Bush, R.E.M. The Pogues, Kirsty MacColl, Twisted Sister, Alice Cooper. Clifford T Ward knows how top make every note count. And he fought and died singing his soul out. He struggled-on and kept singing.

Yeah. It all began with "Time the Magician", then the whole album "Home Thoughts from Abroad", then the album "Escalator", then I had to get everything.

@Corkscrewkenny ..I'm a rockhead too'...But I've collected Clifford T. Ward stuff since the mid 70's...So believe me'...You're not on your own....I think I must have the same condition as you lol'...or the fact we both love the hell out of his music...Anyone else..?

@Corkscrewkenny Crikey, that means that I must be a schizo too....I listen to rock almost all the time & this guy. maybe it's because there is something basic, honest, flawless & lacking in frills about rock & CTW.....who knows... rock on !
