Jason Johnson. you are a prick. they are both very successful. john is an excellent guitarist and singer, but so is clay. shitty musicians? John has played with Clapton, Guy, King, The Police, DRH, Robbie Macintosh, etc. Definitely not shitty musicians or music if you ask me.

Surprised he didn't gain success? - He's in the Zac Brown Band...and John Mayer is playing duets with Katy Perry. I definitely say Clay is on top today. Maybe not financially, but he gets to play great music with great musicians. John is playing shitty music with shitty musicians. I have a feeling Clay is happy where he's at.

I'm just not sure if I like this sentimental version of No Such Thing, it doesn't go very well with the lyrics even though it's perfectly executed. I think the song benefits from the happy and fast flow of John's version!

Did't gain success after splitting with John? Shoot, he's been in the Marshall Tucker Band, Sugarland and now he's in the Zac Brown Band. That's pretty successful to me! Guess you're just referring to the solo success. Clay is awesome!
