Might be more helpful, or convincing, if you left off the Provo stuff. I don't see the Provo's following in the footsteps of Connolly or Tone, far too often they descended into acts that were sectarian and tribalist. The Provos actions marked them out as Catholic Nationalists rather than Irish Republicans or Irish Republican Socialists.
