Definitely an edited version of the studio track - that's a 12 string guitar I'm hearing

Very cool! This seems to be from the same footage in which I'm a Man on Beat Club was shot. Would be good to have the original audio, rather than the studio version, though.
In my opinion, the best song of CTA. Great musicianship and song writing. Simple to the ear, but the impact of performance is incredible!

Oh, I've never heard of this editing before. Looks like Lamm's primary teeth have already fallen..

I like the message in this song. Everything begins in some way and by the time it was sung originally it reminds me of the time I graduated as an engineer and took my first job. I have had success in the profession but this song makes me think how it all began over forty years ago. The same holds for relationships. They begin somehow and at times they become great, To insure success we must have a good beginning in whatever we are involved. Jorge Mario Rodas.

Thanks so much for posting this old video of the OG band Chicago, Yrrah 0024, I really appreciate it.....I've been a huge fan since CTA, and I believe this is the studio version of Beginnings but a taped live performance for anyone who's asking....anyway, great video....I remain grateful chick in San Diego, CA

The Core
Look how happy they are. They knew they had such a special powerful sound that no one ever had before (or after). Terry Kath is still one of the best (rest his soul).
