Not to down Hendrix, but he was mostly flash and flare, relying heavily on effects, distortion, and visual gimmicks. I've been a guitarist my whole life and he is overrated. Terry Kath was the real deal, he blew everyone else out of the water!!!!!

Not only is Chicago a great band, but they were great friends. They played for us in New Orleans at the Warehouse in 1970 and 71. They knew we were about to go out of business, so they wouldn't take any money and we able to pay our bills and stay in business.

The only reason that can possibly exist as to why Chicago isn't already in the RRHOF, is that Terry Kath must have told Jann Wenner he was a no talent schlock peddler.

Terry Kath absolutely shreds that Fender...but after all he was, and is the Greatest guitarist in rock and roll history (recall what Jimi Hendrix told him...you're better than I am) if that isn't praise and recognition, nothing is :-)

Seraphine's drumming is one of the things that makes this. Listen to the first minute here. The current Chi drummer doesn't have that jazz style.

The whole world knows, Terry Kath was the greatest rock guitarist of all time and his solo on this song is the hammer on the anvil to prove it.
