Humanoid performed by Chevelle with timed lyrical queues. Enjoy :)

Song: Humanoid

Artist: Chevelle

Album: Vena Sera

Lyrics:

I paid you, squeaky wheel.

Go try healing this too.

That said, you're full of it.

On a bend, beg to fail.

Properly holding your grudge.

That said, you're full of shit.

Well, try accepting this:

Why not face today?

Forever one to crawl out.

Fade out next to lazy.

End it all within.

Why not face today?

Forever one to crawl out.

Fade out next to lazy.

End it all within.

Last burned? Well grab a pen.

For the fourth and unknown.

Hated work, but loved the scene.

The somber came juxtaposed.

All the subtleness of a...

Downed plane, defeat again.

Try accepting this:

Why not face today?

Forever one to crawl out.

Fade out next to lazy.

End it all within.

Why not face today?

Forever one to crawl out.

Fade out next to lazy.

End it all within.

If only the crying could heal,

I'd sell my left arm to buy passion.

If only apologies worked.

I could find some reasons.

Why, maybe you wouldn't be...

So ill, so, ill, sorry your souls.

So fucking shallow.

It's creeping outside, outside of its hole.

It's trying to see.

Say it.

Fake this reality.

Why not face today?

Forever one to crawl out.

Fade out next to lazy.

End it all within.

Why not face today?

Forever one to crawl out.

Fade out next to lazy.

End it all within.

Why not face today?

Why not face today?

Why not face today?

What I face...

Why not face today?

Why not face today?

Why not face today?

Why not face today?

If only bob used this type of vocabulary. Then maybe they will get respected. I laugh at bvb lyrics when you compare how dull and simple they are to Chevelle's.

Here to help. Vena Sera was the 4th album. (the "fourth and unknown"). The first line "I paid you, squeaky wheel" the "you" is obviously lazy brother Joe, who hated work, but loved the scene. Last burned? Well grab a pen, for the fourth and unknown, means help write the damn 4th album. "Try accepting this" means see you later buddy! And Joe is out of the band and brother-in-law Dean is in. And Dean is crazy good, leading to the now obvious long-standing "grudge" between especially Pete and Joe. Pete admits to Shameful Metaphors, obviously, and from the 4th album on, any song that has the reference to CREEP is an obvious reference to Joe. Well Enough Alone and I Get It(let's all live in your imaginary life) are both about Joe also. The CREEP theme throughout La Gargola is the same. Hunter eats Hunter (another family better not divide, i'll beat this jackal down, this interference ends! --- about Joe), same with Jawbreaker (I caught your evil eye, one ugly inner child -- about Joe), and Under the Knife is pretty clearly about the eventual Knife fight that is in the back of Pete's mind.

What's with "grudge"? Does he say it way on the album? It took me a while to notice, now I can't stop

If you cuss in your music it doesn't automatically determine your religion, think people.

Yeah, a lot of people think that they're a Christian band even though they've stated they aren't. People think Chevelle's a Christian band because of The Clincher, their accidental signing with a Christian label, and because they're catholic

They just know they sound hardcore and badass as it is, they don't need to curse to prove it. I feel bands curse in moments of great anger or passion.

I didn't realize anyone thought that. lol

Everyone who thinks they're a Christian band should listen to this song

It was probably written with anger. It would explain a lot.
