I wish she still let loose like this now! She always sounds like she's holding back and singing through her nose now. She did this song live in her Taking Chances world tour--she hit all of the notes but it was mechanical and cold sounding. She didn't do the raspy bits either. :(10 years ago

I love Celine so much but I want to know why/how her voice has changed so much.I know people say it's age but although she still has power the tone and that certain sound she had here is so different. Other veteran singers seem to still have their tone and clarity for which they were first known for.But Celine's changed.I like it but just want to understand why such a change.Is it a technique thing she developed to maintain her voice as she got older?
