Ste and Paddy from Cecil are now in a band called Takotsubo Men. Check them out on Soundcloud. Much appreciated!

Saw this band supporting Mansun in '98, and they were good (a wee bit angry lol). Quite liked their first album - a few gems on there.

Cecil will always remain one of my all-time favourite bands. Saw them first supporting the Levellers in Glasgow. Ste jumped off the stage and kissed my mate on the forehead - Classic. Bought the first album very soon after. Saw them again supporting Mansun. Feel priviliged to have seen them.

Now when I go out to watch bands and nothing excites me, I realise how lucky I was to have witnessed a group as good as Cecil. Even performing between the racks in HMV in broad daylight, they took my breath away. Especially then - raw and honest, with no gimmicks to hide behind. Music made by real people with something to say. To the five lads who put so much into these tunes and to all the people who ever appreciated the band, I wish you well wherever you are. x

I loved this band and this song. Good memories! Weird to think it was 15 years ago.

Its off the album Subtitles which was released in 1998, so I think this must have been released 98 or 99.
