Ste Williams

Ste and Paddy from Cecil are now in a band called Takotsubo Men. You can check them out on Soundcloud if you fancy it. Much appreciated!

I expected big things for this band. Loved em live, got into them when they supported Mansun. Really hoped they'd do more stuff. Changed their name to VOY, then disappeared. Shame. Great song this.

First gig i ever went to was to see Cecil, me and 2 mates. Screamed for them to play My Neck the whole time. Last song they played and was dedicated to the 3 fuckwits at the front. Must have played their first album every day for a month on my drive to school after that.

@trevgooder Yeah, i saw them at Donington, too. Eleven o'clock in the morning, and quite hungover! Lol! Me and my mates loved them and got well into them after that. Bought alot of the stuff and saw them countless times after that, including our mates' band (dBh) supporting them. What a great way to start Donington! They went down well! A fun, but talented band! Still love 'em now!! \m/ (:o)

Loved them. Bought this single in London when I was a teenager on a school trip from Glasgow...bought the album after that...and still hold a wee love of them now....obscure and never became big....quite right but...i like to now they didn't get spoiled by millions of wandering eyes. Oddly nostalgic about this song...gone are my teenage years of grunge and long hair and hash.

I nearly got kicked out of one of their smaller gigs when I got ridiculously drunk and kept pestering the singer for a very tiny wellie that was on the drum kit! Great concert...from what I remember!

Loved Cecil, one of my favourite live bands. Antique and Measured were my 2 favourites.....superb. And then there was Ste, and his legendary walks through the crowd....

Loved this band in Highschool, but they were quite obscure, and never seemed to make it out from that obscurity, in some ways, I'm glad they never became huge. Love it!

I loved Cecil, saw them a couple of times live and have all their cds. Shame they didn't do better. Wonder what happened to them...
