A music video from 1988 featuring Jimmy Davis and Junction when they were on the QMI Music/Chrysalis label. Video directed by Eddie Barbini

Junction was:

Jimmy Davis - lead vocals

John Scott - piano, keyboards

Chuck Reynolds - drums

Tommy Burroughs - electric guitar, mandolin

David Cochran - bass

NOTE: I can't find it listed anywhere "officially" but the drummer in this video is actually Steve Mergan, one of my favorite drummers ever. The clear footage of him from 1:05 to 1:07 confirms it for me.

Maybe he looked like John Mellencamp, but this guy is certainly legit in his own right even after all this time. I wish he'd had the break Mellencamp got.

Jimmy Davis is proof to all fans of great music that the strong do survive !! Jimmy's fan base has grown even more since the turn of the 21st Century. Just saw him do an AMAZING SHOW in Oklahoma that left me literally speechless !! Catch his show as soon as you can !!

Jimmy has one of the best voices from the 80's bar none. Perfect pitch before computer correction.

Unfortunately, I think too many people tried to label JD as a Mellencamp clone and this hurt his marketability during the late 80's. However, this is one of the best written songs ever. Jimmy is so cool and a great musician. This CD remains in my top 5 playlist.
