This song is probably the best example of Chan's early sound, coming out of the new york noise scene with bands like Sonic Youth she had a similar gritty style in her instrumentals, (Steve Shelley did drums on her first two albums) but with a vocal style that's all her own. This song is so good it actually appears on both her first two albums, which were recorded on the same day.

Used to get blitzed out of my mind on triple C's while on deployment, sulk, and play fallout 3 listening to this song on repeat until I fell asleep in a deep depression.
