I like Casting Crowns quite a bit because no one realizes how many of their songs had a social justice message, wrapped in flowery religious language.Don't work your life away, Christians shouldn't turn away people for judgmental reasons - these ideas are radical and dangerous to fundies.It's anathema to a sizable chunk of evangelical American Christianity, *especially* songs like We Are the Body, and I love them for it. People like that *should* be made uncomfortable, and their kids *should* listen to music that points out the flaws in their worldview. This band did a good work for their time.

What is the point of becoming rich when you will leave it all behind. When you retire then do what you always wanted to do all along with your life. When you retire you can relax physically but mentally you will always think about work. Yes you have spent 80% of your life to achieve some part of an ''American Dream'' but now what. Its good to search in every part of your mind and ask ''What do I want to do with my life?'' Then do it no matter how socially unacceptable it is to others.

Casting Crowns are genius. They were groundbreaking when they first came out. They have taken "preaching to the choir" to a whole new level. I love their lyrics! Another thing: They can write a worship song with complex lyrics and melodies, and still have catchy and easily singable! That's what more people need to be doing: writing songs that are both poetic and singable.

As a 50 year old man who has walked in Jacks shoes I can honestly say being an American father is not for the faint of heart. Looking back I regret missing the soccer games, evening dinners, and holiday events seeking the finer things. I would gladly hand over the keys to the BMW to watch one more soccer game my daughter played or kick the soccer ball with my her. Hmm sheet medal or a hug from your child. Fathers need to compete every day to protect their children and build a future. Modern society does not appreciate a father but other dads absolutely understand. God walked by my side while I ignored my family, but never left even when I cursed him for life's challenges. My only advice is when you spend moments away from your family make sure you will not regret this decision in the future. God bless you dads who fight for your family every day. Just do not cheat yourself or family out of the memories and incur future regrets. Money will never fill the hole in your heart. Your family and Jesus are there for you. Just love them and and enjoy the walk in the park, soccer game, ice cream, a baseball game, a Sunday sermon together.
