I was hired by the band Pain to play drums on the west-coast half of their US tour, summer-fall of '98. During said tour they got a call from CN to compose a song for Jabberjaw, which CN had recently acquired the rights for. Dan, the singer, wrote this thing during the tour, at some point we rehearsed it, then recorded it in one of the weirdest recording studios I've ever seen. (Imagine a rundown 125 yr-old farm house next to active railroad tracks in rural AL, but it had a fully equipped studio circa 1975. We had to stop takes when trains went by. Zero Return Studio - RIP) At some point Pose, the bass player/Übermensch sent me a VHS tape of the finished product. Thought it looked cool, then forgot about it.Smash cut to today, when I threw some search terms into YouTube and was directed to this. That anyone saw this, much less remembered or liked it, is remarkable.

I remember I used to dance to this video when I was little and I had seen the original Jabber Jaw on CN back in time which I do remember the song mentioned Scooby Doo and Curly from the Three Stoodges because they were played by the same guy, now I realized that Shelli is a butch to Jabber after he free her but Bubbles looked a lot better in this version. It would be something if they update this as a show just like they done with Scooby Doo and same with Josie and the Pussy Cats which I've seen the live action movie of it that was rated PG-13 which I believe it was a teen's movie and I couldn't watch it because I was like 3rd or 4th grade when it came out until when I was already an adult on Netflix.

Damn it!! I HATE this, I'm not an emotional person but seeing this beautiful piece of work I can tears behind my eyes. I remember being maybe 4 or 5 watching this on Cartoon Network and singing this song at the top of my lungs with my brother and sister. Boomerang *REALLY* fucked up when they just decided to change everything and taking out the groovies with them.
