For a dozen years Bergonzi had been in his prime.Perhaps the finest EVER Verdi tenor on disc. There wasn't a lot wrong with is Puccini and Donizetti either. We are lucky to have on You Tube , Bergonzi in his prime. His early live " Che gelida manina" from the Met is unsurpassed in my opinion. Then we have the live expert from " Lucia" from I believe Japan where you will NEVER hear finer bel canto. Then there is the "O Paradiso" it may be from the same concert as this.Whats the best?
