This Sunday (August 5th 2012) marks the 20th Anniversary of my hero, the great Jeffrey Porcaro's untimely passing. As a small tribute (in the only way I know how), I'd like to dedicate this video to the memory of Jeff - the man, the musician, the genious and the master of groove. He blessed the music of many and inspired countless others - including myself. I'd also like to dedicate this video to Jeff's brother and fellow Toto band member Mike Porcaro who is suffering from ALS. Please pray for Mike!

I hope you enjoy.

The dude has been playing the drums since he was four... no kidding! I"ll never forget the day Rob took his first bite of solid food - he used 2 drunsticks instead of his utensils ... aahh.. seems like only yesturday :-)

I figured it would be enough. Obviously the sound you have achieved is great. I really like it. So much so that I had to ask if you had ever tried different configs, just in case :)

Sure. No I've never really needed to hook up two R16s, although I've heard it can be done. The one R16 I have is all I really need to be honest. I could probably spot-mic the kit a bit more closely if I had two R16s but what I get with just eight channels is good enough. Thanks :-D

Cool :) Can I ask about your setup? I had a look at your website. Have you ever hooked up two R16 units?
