I agree with some of the earlier comments. This is very close, but Jeff's anticipation and his ability to play ahead of the beat, especially on fills, sets him apart from other great players.

hahah...even pro level background singers (who are better than their famous counterparts almost invariably) can't deal with bobby's wacky parts...can't say I blame the guy...if you listen to live performances, bobby can't even deal with bobby's wacky parts

Hey I think Greg B. is a great drummer, no question, and though certainly coming closer than anyone I've heard yet, it just doesn't flow the same way, I gotta listen a few more times; there's a riff he's doing every measure that seems to stilt the flow......???

Gregg Bissonette should have replaced Jeff Porcaro. Always thought he was a real rock drummer. Keith Carlock and Shannon Forrest are groovy, but can't get the "Jeff shuffle", sorry. Simon was able to do the shuffle, but lacked groove, as he is a fusion drummer mostly. Gregg had it all!
