Don't know why people like to pretend that Chris should have stayed in the band. His voice was shot by this point. The only reason he doesn't sound as shitty on this as he does on The Bleeding is because the quality of the production isn't nearly as clear. This is just a rough demo. The vocals weren't even done. I am glad they released it for people to hear. But I wish Barnes could have completed the songs. He was a much better and more brutal vocalist for Corpse back then. The band was tired of him taking the spotlight away from them so they canned him, had nothing to do with his vocals clearly he still sounded great9 years ago
