George Fisher by far as he's my favorite death metal vocalist of all time. However, Chris Barnes was a great fit for early Cannibal Corpse and wrote awesomely gruesome lyrics (which Fisher does not). He can also go even lower than George, no one can compete with his gutturals except maybe Bill Steer from Carcass. So yeah, overall I prefer Corpsegrinder but Chris still has his strong points, or at least he used to.

George has the intense fast screams but Chris was more versatile and his earlier growls, especially live, were just blood curdling.

I think Chris was the best vocalist for the early era Corpse but Fisher is the best for the newer era. Chris's work on the first four records is top notch. George cant match the brutality of those albums, however, Chris's work on the Vile recordings was fucking terrible. At that point the music was getting too complex to be in Barnes' wheelhouse. His Patterns seldomly fit the music and often took away from the compositions. Fishers voice meshed in with the faster more technical stuff perfectly. George has a far better range and from a technical standpoint he is a better singer but I still prefer the Barnes era.

I like Chris alot more, I love his lows and highs. George is too monotone for me i guess. George is good, but Chris is just so much better in my opinion.And yes, I like Chris in both Cannibal and Six Feet Under.
