Alan was definately a was an amazing harp player. Just wondering if you know of Norton Buffalo. He was the most incredible harp player I ever saw.

When it comes to harp playing Alan was a genius, he retuned harps to hit notes that are ordinarily unavailable on the harp, his tone and vibrato are unparalleled even to this day. and his phrasing is unique. he played with an unbridled passion he was one of the greatest whoever picked up the harp!!! I've been playing the harp for 34 years, to me no one does what Alan did!!!

Al Wilson was carreering to be one of the greatest harp players of all time and that I can assure you because he was only young in this track and God knows what sounds he could have produced had he have lived long enough to have honed his skills to their rightfull fruition.
