yesterday I came across a website that listed every single one of their tour dates in detail. I cannot fathom for the life of me how they didn't become exhausted playing night after night with very few rests in between traveling from state to state, and still have energy to sing the same songs night after night.

If this is Texas in 1968, it might the tour date in Ft. Worth. They played the cavernous Will Rogers Auditorium, an enclosed stadium of what would today be considered small in scale, but at the time, pretty large. The Beach Boys were a big enough draw to justify such a large venue. Neil spent a great deal of the show sitting sullenly on his big Fender amp!

Neil Young song. Clancy was real guy Neil knew. Clancy lived on the top floor of United College on Portage Avenue in Winnipeg for you Canucks.
