I was only saying that Metallica helped put some attention on a highly under rated band and thats a good thing for Budgie.

Hell yeah it is man. Absolute killer jams on this, Im so happy my Dad got me into these guys and the fact all 6 vinyls i own by them are the orignal imports. My favorite album is "In For The Kill"!!

It's too bad they stayed with A&M Records...I think they would have been a better fit with Warner or Atlantic....A&M was bought and gutted btw...

I'm with you on that one man. Someone told me that Lars Ulrich had the balls to say that he did not only dislike some of the older songs they covered but he hated their versions and that he was doing justice by covering them

Its very disappointing that they didn't received the promotion they truly deserved

its not controversy its just the US has always had a problem with anything eclectic. I mean geez the tv networks all make a fuss about Lady Googa or whatever but they won't say anything about bands that are eclectic or different or uniquely creative. I hope more people become aware of more creative music/bands from the past

Although Budgie was on a major record label, (A&M) the record company did little to promote them...

I love Budgie and I would have never heard of them without Metallica. Love or hate Metallica, their Garage Inc. album still brought new fans to older bands.

@Winterstick549 Burke Shelley & Tony Bourge could fart better songs than Metallica

Metallica really liked this band. Metallica got some attention for this highly underated band.
