The single came out on the day Buddy Holly would have been 58 years old. It references 50s’ actress Mary Tyler Moore. The song went as high as #2 on the US Modern Tracks back in 2010. Buddy Holly also came in at #59 on the VH1 100 Greatest songs of the 90’s back in 2007.
