I used to love this song till it was ruined about 10 years ago by some pointless group called All Stars.

I was in a support band at a Bucks Fizz gig and I stood at the side of the stage when they sung this song. I cried when they played it!!!!

Jay was the first reason I ever got a tickle in my underpants...I was 5 when this came out and even then I understood what a sexy bitch was

Peter Pan never looked more fetching than being portrayed by Cheryl Baker, and I imagine Jay got a few proposals in that outfit; I also imagine the BBC didn't want them in their original outfits for this song, where Jay and Cheryl had just enough on to keep the censors happy. Pete Sinfield and Andy Hill wrote what Sinfield called a clever rebuke of the Thatcher administration; wasn't released over in the US until 1982, from an LP called "Bucks Fizz". They apparently mashed the first two albums together over here and really didn't promote it.
