Man. He wakes up and signs autographs. He does a four hour show. And it turns out he even breaks your heart in a sound check. I've been asking this since October of 1980--Who IS this guy? Thanks, Dan!

there is something about this video that is just so awesome... the summer breeze that you can slightly hear... the time of day/lighting... the way bruce is playing the song... this video is so good

Glad you liked it :-) Yes, it's always great to see Bruce working songs out like that, or teaching the band - usually in just a few seconds! When he came out so congested and hoarse it was hard to believe he'd make it through the show, let alone do a record-breaking, history-making marathon... and it's certainly not a throwaway performance despite his casual manner, no coincidence that this pre-show was dedicated to longtime regular fans. This is one reason we go again and again!

thanks for this vid. this is absolutely awesome on so many levels: the way Bruce figures out the chords in the beginning, the absolutely AMAZING vocal, even with his congestion, the deep cut off "Greetings." friggin' amazing. This isn't exactly a "rocker," but it's probably one of my top 10 favorite Bruce performance videos of all time. thanks again
