New York's "Brooklyn Bridge" Achieved Their Biggest Hit Success In 1969 With "The Worst That Could Happen". But, Their Next Single Was A Great Achievement Too In That It Was A "2-Sided" Hit. The First Side Was "Blessed Is The Rain" And On The Flip Side Was Our Featured Song Today Called "Welcome Me Love". Both Sides Did Fairly Well...."Blessed" Made It To #45 And "Welcome" To #48 in 1969. Here Is The Brooklyn Bridge Featuring Superb Lead Vocals From The Late Johnny Maestro!

WOULD RATHER LISTEN TO THIS "OLDIE " THAN MOST OF THE GARBAGE THAT PASSES FOR MUSIC TODAY

I listen to it and listen again and again. It's so mellow and sounds sweet all the time. It activates my musical senses in a way that i can not describe, only musical people can have that experience.

no gimmicks, no flamboyant costumes, just beautiful voices, harmonies and talent that has stood the test of time. Classic, timeless and joyful. RIP.

The music was so stacked in those days, so not every hit song earned as high a chart position as it probably deserved; but I know what you're getting at. Even though 'Worst That Could Happen' was a top-five, million-seller; 'Welcome Me Love' is my favourite Brooklyn Bridge song.

Music Mike you have great taste, I love "Welcome Me Love" and "Falling Apart at the Seems". Two songs that should of been top ten hits. Thank you.
