How can you be sick of Mike Mogis!? if it weren't for him, Conor wouldn't be where he is today...read the liner notes of all of his albums from 1997 to 2002 "Thank you to Mike and AJ Mogis, if it weren't for them this record would have been what it is and I would have sounded a lot worse." Mogis and Nate Walcott are the major components in the musicality of Bright Eyes' sound. Conor Oberst is just a lyrical genius.

I don't agree with the Mogis part but Laura definitely is super talented and a ridiculous singer, I was mad that they didn't really do a duet on the album a la Emmylou Harris on I'm Wide Awake It's Morning. : )

@jasonsaroyan hey, just heads up: the chorus is composed of power chords from the guitar players (mogis and oberst), and vamping by nate. i'm talking about the synth triplets.. the only triplets in the chorus.. it's Laura Burhenn. i personally think she doesn't get enough credit on this album. kinda sick of Mogis, to be honest

they're AMAZING! Just saw them yesterday and I gotta say that their live sound is better than the studio recordings but I guess that's just taste. :) anyways, amazing band and Conor is one of the best songwriters in these days thnx for uploading ;)
