I say them perform 4th of July, '85 in the actual Boybar on St. Mark's Place in NYC. I was 19, an underage regular there, and it was one of the best summers of my life.

I saw them open up for Depeche Mode in 1986 in Berkeley,Ca. What a great show! It sucked though going to shows alone since all my friends were into Rock & Roll. They just didn't understand my obsession with what was Modern Rock.

Oh yeah! I remember playing the hell out of my cassette back in the day. I'd play this when I'd be going off base, driving my red and silver 85 Fiero GT to make my required visits to the local gay clubs. It was always a risky thing to do, since the OSI and the military in general were still kicking gay service members out. I can't even imagine what it is like today, being able to serve without the worry of being dishonorably discharged.

It was Club 101 Retro 80s Saturdays down town EL Paso, Tx mid 90's . I spent many a nites dancing to the great 80's drinking Zimas with grenadine. MAN I Really miss those days...Best times of my life. I recenty went home for the hoilidays and 101 moved around and still exists, but nothing like it used to be. looks like they had to change to keep up with the times. funny I saw a lot of out of towners and even a couple of people I remember still clubing like me trying to relive THE GREAT 80s.

1986 als Vorgruppe von Depeche Mode in Münster. Absolut super. Ein Jahr vorher war Matt Fretton in Münster als "Vorgruppe" von DM in Münster. Der war echt der Hammer und wurde zu Recht von der Bühne gebuht.

My first concert was Depeche Mode as the main act but Book of Love held their own as the opening band. Good times.
