i used to listen to this every day when my grandma (mama) was suffering from lung cancer. at the time i was 14 and had no idea what the song was about. and i still 100% dont. but it reminds me of her and all the horrible things i went through when she died. i love you mama.

I think this song could be about his wife or kid having cancer. That's why they are looking at the blood bags for names they know. Him and his brother both donated. This song, whatever its about, it makes me cry. It's absolutely amazing.
