LYRICS

I don't know much about love people

but I sure think I've got it bad

I don't know too much about love people

but I sure think I've got it bad

Some people say love is just a gamble

but whatever it is, it's about to drive poor me mad

Yes it is

I'm sittin' here in my lonely room

tears flowin' all down my eyes

Come on baby

As I'm sittin' here, sittin' here

sittin' here in my lonely room

You know the tears flowin' all down my god-darn eyes

I wonder how you could treat me so low down and dirty, ha-ha

You know what? Your heart must be made out of iron

And it ain't no lie. Come on baby

Don't you worry!

Oww! Oh yeah!

Over here!

Sometime, I get so worried

you know I could sit down and cry, ha-ha-ha, yea!

Dig this!

You know sometime I get so worried people

you know, and only you know, I could sit down and cry

And it ain't no lie

Because, I don't know too much about love people

but I

but I

Oww sure think I've got it bad

Nicky Hopkins's piano solo on this song is absolutely amazing. #RIPNickyHopkins This great song comes from the 1968 Jeff Beck Group album Truth. Truth is one of my top 20 favorite albums of all time.

Jeff Beck was the only other modern rock guitarist besides Jimi Hendrix who actually changed the SOUND of the guitar, and was truly innovative.. I saw Jeff many times, but the Filmore East in Oct. 68 I recorded on a reel to reel dicatophone machine (which I still have the tape) and it seem to put Jeff's guitar way on top, so you can really hear the unique sound of a gold top Les Paul and a Marshall stack !Clapton was great, esp. on Stormy Monday (1966) but just a great blues player. Jeff made his guitar fart, shit and squeal, and he didn't copy Hendrix one bit. He was, and is his own self.I only wish he would play straight blues again. I saw him fooling around trading licks with B.B. King on a DVD and for a bout 30 sec. he was the OLD Jeff..now he goes back to "space-guitar" impressive, but not the blues man he still should acknowledge.

Joe Bonamassa's a fine guitarist but Beck's playing is extremely imaginative. He just pushes the song around, makes it his lump of clay.
