i should add..bill cowsill of the cowsills of the 60's also was a member of blue northern, late 70's early 80's...

I always remember once watching this band on Alan Thicke's then afternoon talk show where Blue Northern sang two (or three) sets and later as one of Thicke's guests was seating themselves they remarked to Thiicke "that band's rockin'". :)

they coulda been the partridge family....but they declined cause the producers asked their sister barbara to leave the band..they then asked david cassidy and shirley jones to play parts...which became the partridge family...by they, i mean the cowsills from the 60's..

Vancouver - The Kego Club, 1980 - New Years Eve - Blue Northern. Billy Cowsill rivals any of the great lead singers off the past 50 years. I just wish he could have stayed with us longer. RIP, my talented friend.
