i should add..bill cowsill of the cowsills of the 60's also was a member of blue northern, late 70's early 80's...

I always remember once watching this band on Alan Thicke's then afternoon talk show where Blue Northern sang two (or three) sets and later as one of Thicke's guests was seating themselves they remarked to Thiicke "that band's rockin'". :)

they coulda been the partridge family....but they declined cause the producers asked their sister barbara to leave the band..they then asked david cassidy and shirley jones to play parts...which became the partridge family...by they, i mean the cowsills from the 60's..

Cowsills from the 60's?... took me a while..but figured it out..they had some hits in teh 60's..The Cowsills..a family band...the rain, the park and other things...love that song...
