Blue Cheer is an American blues-rock band that initially performed and recorded in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and has been sporadically active since. Based in San Francisco, Blue Cheer played in a psychedelic blues-rock style, and are also credited as being pioneers of heavy metal music.

If you think blue cheers first two albums where shit then your ears are fucking musically deaf, so go check it out because those two albums are so underrated in helping the development of rock music in general, i understand why you wouldnt like this newer blue cheer stuff but seriously dude go check out their old releases.11 years ago

Well...everyone likes what they like. There's no accounting for taste. After all, a bunch of peopled had the wool pulled over their eyes & chose to voted for Obama. I get that U dig rock. But an understanding of music, the chromatic scale and an appreciation for singing & playing in the same key as the rest of the band is a skill set a person has to develope. Just because a band gets to record their music doesn't make them good musicians. Garage bands are a dime a dozen. This recording is definitely from the moldy basement of a stinky garage. It sucked in '69 (I was 17) & it super sucks now. Reminds me of hippy dippy San Francisco wanna be psychedelic crap. Don't get me wrong. I loves me some hard rock. But between this & the Grateful Dead, I don't know which sucks more.12 years ago
